ATS would like to recognize Katrina Black, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Villa Clara Post Acute Care, for her commitment to furthering her education and career. Katrina is enrolled in the weekend Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program at Belmont University in Nashville and is on track to graduate in 2022.

When asked about the driving force behind furthering her education, Katrina shared that she has always had the vision of continuing her education in the field she really enjoys. With an advanced degree, she will provide advanced Occupational Therapy interventions and keep growing as a therapist.

“I work with a great group of co-workers who are willing to help each other out, provide information, and give the best care possible to our patients,” Katrina stated. “As a team, we are working together to navigate new procedures while providing top-notch quality care.”
